tissue paper candle holder : remake

May 11, 2009 by Emily

Those dried flower candle holders from a few days ago really are beautiful when lit up at night, but they didn’t satisfy my need for the candlelight and bright color combination I was originally aiming for. So, I tried it again, only this time I used Mod Podge with tissue paper and bits of paper from the recycle box. I worked with shapes and pattern while Chick went the more experimental route, and they both came out looking really vibrant and lovely .

The red, white, and blue one would be perfect as 4th of July table decorations, wouldn’t it?

The glue was still drying in the pictures below , but the light was so perfect, I had to take some pictures.

They are real pretty when all aglow.

Very pretty, but really I want to comment that I love the new web design — both your new main photo and the “you might like these stories” feature. I am so impressed with your craftiness and overall awesomeness! But am still waiting for the “Dancing School Costume: Remake” post.

The designs shared over your posts sound incredible and gorgeous. Such furniture is certainly to add the new style and add aesthetic value to your home décor. Great, keep sharing such stuff, well I think I will have such chairs or tables at home
