Totally in love with these! Red Riding Hood, with her tiny eyes and absent mouth, reminds me of the characters in a book I had as a child. I’ll have to dig that out.

Thank you for your delightful story stones. I’m a teacher of little children and these are wonderful tutorials. I am hoping to get some of my Mommies together to make some stories come alive in kid’s homes where they don’t have a lot of money or books. These made my day, often I have talented Mommies who just need an inspiration to get them thinking of how to bring school home with them! THANK YOU for your wonderful inspiration. These Mommies may not even read, in any language, but these will get dialogue and storytelling into their homes! Love love love these. Can’t wait to share with my principal and reading teacher. If there is any money perhaps we can even find a way to purchase some of yours (This is a BIG Maybe unfortunately… most art or extra projects come out of my pockets. So perhaps I can tell you how grateful I am that you’re here and are just the antedote to a problem I’ve been facing! I hope you sell many stones, I’ll certainly tell people about you. I especially like hearing that you plan to use the Stones as way to facilitate story telling and conversation with people who struggle to read. Did you use fabric for these ones or something else? It kind of looks like the Stockmar wax or something. They are so awesome!! I can’t wait to make some.
