About Emily

Hi, I’m Emily. I love discovering ways for people to stretch the boundaries of their imaginations. I’m especially interested in exploring the connection between art & writing, and how both can nurture people’s capacity to imagine. I share inspiration, projects, curriculum ideas, creative tools, and links to fantastic resources in this space.

Welcome!
I’m so glad you are here.

I just ADORE your stones- especially the story ones! (If I could only trust my Little Wild Man with them…)

Keep crafting, and I hope you sell bunches at you craft show!

That’s the most cheerful box of stones I’ve ever seen. Good luck tomorrow!

I LOVE craft projects with stones!! I collected stones when I was a kid, renewed my love of stones when I was an adult (having a bowl of “precious”, healing stones on my altar), and now I love to do any project with my own kids that involves rocks. I am sure you have tried this project, but I will mention it just in case:
    – heat stones at 350 degrees in oven for 20 minutes, take them out and “paint” on them with crayons. So much fun!!!!

These look so fun! I want to make these; hope they come out as cute as yours did!
