DIY craft fair signs

November 21, 2011 by Emily

As I’m busy making new signs for tomorrow’s craft fair, I figured I post some photos along with my original DIY sign post.

These bright spots really make my table feel complete.  I use double stick tape to swap out the actual sign part each year.  For instance, this year instead of bottle boards I have tote bags, and so tonight I made a new tote bag sign and taped it over the bottle board sign.  The fabric frames it so nicely and makes it feel finished, and you’d never know that other sign is underneath.  Tricky.

Off to market.  (with green tea in hand)

About Emily

Hi, I’m Emily. I love discovering ways for people to stretch the boundaries of their imaginations. I’m especially interested in exploring the connection between art & writing, and how both can nurture people’s capacity to imagine. I share inspiration, projects, curriculum ideas, creative tools, and links to fantastic resources in this space.

Welcome!
I’m so glad you are here.

Emily! These are fantastic. I would never know they weren’t sewn together. You are clever!

    The book–you’re almost there!
