*We spent last weekend cleaning out my belongings from my childhood home.  I’ll write more about that experience in another post.  In the meantime, here are two friendship bracelets that I made during one summer. I know there were many, many more,  but these are the only two that survived.

* Sunset as we were driving south.  Going fast.

*Birthday cake picnic for a friend.  Lakeside.

*Storey Publishing gave me a few of these Show Me a Story storytelling wheels, which they had made for spreading the word about my book.  Playing with it is a little bit addictive.

* A girl and her cat.

Happy Friday, lovelies.

About Emily

Hi, I’m Emily. I love discovering ways for people to stretch the boundaries of their imaginations. I’m especially interested in exploring the connection between art & writing, and how both can nurture people’s capacity to imagine. I share inspiration, projects, curriculum ideas, creative tools, and links to fantastic resources in this space.

Welcome!
I’m so glad you are here.

I love the friendship bracelets. Years ago, back at the old lake house, my mom and I were making friendship bracelets and Beth told us to be careful that we didn’t leave the ends too long because they might hang in our food, lol.

Daphne –I wish I had them to give away. Storey Publishing had only a limited amount for marketing purposes. It can’t hurt to send an email to Storey and ask! 🙂
